The LIFE RESTART Project in La Gazzetta del Sud: a new step towards sustainability

We are pleased to share with you the recent publication in La Gazzetta del Sud celebrating the success of the #LIFE RESTART project and the opening of the “Olivettian Pole,” a reality capable of combining innovation, sustainability and social commitment. Among the protagonists of this story of entrepreneurial excellence, the decisive contribution of Crossing srl, a partner in the project that has developed new biomaterials resulting from an intensive research program, stands out.
Together with #Ecosmed, #FondazioneMessina, #BirrificioMessina, #UNIME, #GiardineriaItaliana the LIFE RESTART project has been able to develop a pioneering line of biomaterials made using agro-food waste, such as spent grains from beer production, and other by-products of the territory. This innovative approach is in line with the vision of a circular bioeconomy, in which “waste” becomes a valuable resource for the realization of a socially and environmentally sustainable business model.
